Step 1 : First, open Microsoft Edge in Compute and then click on the three-dot button to open the option menu.
Step 2 : Now, from the menu, click on the settings option.
Step 3 : From the left sidebar, under setting options, click on the Sidebar option and further options will be available on the right side of the screen.
Step 4 : Here, in the first option, you will find the Show copilot option as Enable. Click and toggle off the option.

2. Hide Copilot icon from Microsoft Edge using Registry Editor
Method 1 was simple and easy to use and is also the recommended one, but in case you are curious and want to explore other method then this registry editor is for you, here are the steps that you need to follow.
Step 1: First, you need to open Registry Editor in Windows 11/10. To do so, click on the start button, and in search, type RUN. You can even open the RUN option by pressing the Win+R button from the keyboard and typing Regedit. After typing, press OK.
Step 2 : Registry Editor will be open, now navigate to the below path.
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\
Step 3: The next step is to add a new key under the Microsoft key. To do so, click on Microsoft and right-click. Select New, then Key, and name it Edge.
Step 4 : Now select Edge key that you had created and in the right-side pane, right-click and select the “New > DWORD (32-bit) Value” option. Name the new DWORD as HubsSidebarEnabled. (Only rename the key and don’t change any value.)
Step 6 : After saving the registry, restart the browser and Copilot is turnoff in the edge. Restart the Edge browser, and your Copilot will be hidden.

How to enable Copilot in Microsoft Edge

Step 1 : Open Microsoft Edge in your computer and click on the three-dot button to open the option and from that select Settings.
Step 2 : Now click on the Sidebar option from the Right side menu and then click on Copilot option under App and notification settings.
Step 3 : Here you will see the Show Copilot option which is off, toggle the button to turn it on.
